What is Montessori Education?
The Montessori method, founded by Dr. Maria Montessori, is a child-centered educational approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child -- physical, social, emotional, and cognitive. At KPMS, our Montessori program provides a carefully prepared environment where children ages 3 to 6 can explore, discover, and learn at their own pace, guided by trained educators who respect each child's unique developmental journey.
Independence
Children are encouraged to do things for themselves, building confidence and self-reliance through everyday tasks and purposeful activities.
Respect
We cultivate mutual respect between children, teachers, and the environment, teaching grace, courtesy, and empathy from the earliest age.
